9 Rock Band 2 Tracks Revealed
By JP • Jul 1st, 2008 • Category: NewsThanks to the fine folks at the ScoreHero forums, some potential songs for Rock Band 2 have been revealed thanks to a screen grab from the X-Play preview of RB2. After the initial shock that people still watch G4 wore off, I was blown away by the possible new additions to the Rock Band family. With acts such as Journey, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more, the song selection is strong, varied and I think there’s probably something for everyone. And this is just from one difficulty tier.
The tracks, and best guess at performing artists is below:

- “Panic Attack” by Dream Theater or Finger Eleven
- “Chop Suey” by System of a Down
- “Give It Away” by Red Hot Chili Peppers
- “Everlong” by Foo Fighters
- “Kids In America” by Kim Wilde or The Donnas or The Bloodhound Gang
- “Ace of Spades” by Motörhead
- “Hello There” by Cheap Trick
- “Anyway You Want It” by Journey
- “Pinball Wizard” by The Who
If you look closely at the screen grab, you’ll notice that there appears to be “2″ in the icon next to the new songs and “More Than a Feeling” and “All the Small Things” have the standard Rock Band DLC arrow next to them. Wheter this means there is a potential for RB1 songs to be available in Rock Band 2 or not, it does present the possibility.
While, the majority of songs revealed are easily identified, there are a couple that could go a couple of ways. I’m leaning towards Dream Theater for “Panic Attack” and Kim Wilde for “Kids in America”, but they could be from just about anyone. What do you think?
